You Know My Name

Sung by Chris Cornell

If you take a life do you know what you'll give?

Odds are, you won't like what it is

When the storm arrives, would you be seen with me?

By the merciless eyes of deceit

I've seen angels fall from blinding heights
But you yourself are nothing so divine
Just next in line

Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?

The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name

If you come inside things will not be the same
When you return to the night
And if you think you've won
You never saw me change
The game that we have been playing

I've seen diamonds cut through harder men
Than you yourself
But if you must pretend
You may meet your end

Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willing to die?

The coldest blood runs through my veins

Try to hide your hand
Forget how to feel
(Forget how to feel)

Life is gone with just a spin of the wheel
(Spin of the wheel)

Arm yourself because no-one else here will save you
The odds will betray you
And I will replace you
You can't deny the prize it may never fulfill you
It longs to kill you
Are you willin' to die?

The coldest blood runs through my veins
You know my name
(You know my name)
You know my name
(You know my name)
You know my name
You know my name
You know my name

Port Stephens

Let's think about it. Can you see three things, a desert, sea and forest together in only one day? There is the answer, Port Stephens.

Port Stephens, which is about 150 kilometres from Sydney, Australia, takes two hours and thirty minutes by car. It is not far away, but it has fabulous places.

Anna Bay; this is one of the famous places in Port Stephens. Visitors should go there at any cost. First of all, visitors can play, go sand-boarding like snow-boarding, but there is not a lift. It is a exciting experience, because they can enjoy warm, much of soft and never wet.

Secondly, camels on the beach, it is unusual view, whereas it usual view in Port Stephens. Camels for visitors go to the desert and go to the beach. If camels which live in the desert of Sahara see them who live in Anna Bay, they are unbelievable.

Nelson Bay; this is also one of the famous places. When a cruiser left from Nelson wharf and then about fifteen minutes later, the cruiser stopped and then...

Dolphins appeared around. These dolphins were not trained, they live in the wild. Although, sometimes they have do not appear on the surface of the sea, visitors never have to feed them.

There is blue sea and sky. Blue Water Paradise, Port Stephens.

Dream a Little Dream of Me

Sung by Mama Cass Elliot in 1969

Stars shining bright above you,
Night breezes seem to whisper, "I love you";
Birds singin' in the sycamore tree;
Dream a little dream of me...

Say "nighty-night" and kiss me,
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me;
While I'm alone and blue as can be,
Dream a little dream of me...

Stars fading, but I linger on, dear,
Still craving your kiss;
I'm longing to linger til dawn, dear,
Just saying this:

Sweet dreams til sun beams find you,
Sweet dreams that leave our worries behind you;
But in your dreams, whatever they be,
Dream a little dream of me...

Stars fading, but I linger on, dear,
Still craving your kiss;
I'm longing to linger til dawn dear,
Just saying this:

Sweet dreams til sun beams find you,
Sweet dreams that leave our worries far behind you;
But in your dreams, whatever they be,
Dream a little dream of me...

The Outward Form of YP-T9, MP3 Player in Samsung

Samsung YP-T9 is the new MP3 player of T-series which has been released for over a year. Although Apple iPod nano is attractive, it is easily affected by high technological products such as YP-T9. The YP-T9 has the harmony of three important features - design, function and service of media - to enjoy MP3 player. This post will focus on the outward form of YP-T9.

The history of Samsung MP3 player is not too short. It had already started in late 1990's, so there has been a lot of trial and error. However, this has led to better quality products. Certainly modifications made, YP-T9 is the result of their trials and error.

The front side of YP-T9 is formed in a vertical shape of bar type. This side is composed of two parts which is a 1.8 inches LCD display and a large keypad. The YP-T9's keypad is easy to operate for a user who has a big thumb.

The right side has four buttons in order to use general functions - from left in photo; power and play, menu, back, recording and repeat section for study. By the way, a remarkable point is the last button. This is quite different in shape from any other buttons. For this reason, users can operate recording or repeat some section without seeing.

The left side has only one button, a key holder. For reference, if a user tries to operate some function when the key is held, YP-T9 shows status of hold by LCD display.

Actually, the cable to connect PC and YP-T9 is little wider than any other players. But it has compatibility with mobile phone cable which is 24 pin. Being able to use with a mobile phone cable gives added one benefit to users who use 24 pin cable for mobile phone.

The upper part situates three positions; a microphone for recording, a necklace loop and a plug to put an earphone.

The back side is printed with detail information such as model name, memory ability, serial numbers and each kind of industrial standards.

As a result of review of YP-T9, this product set off that it was made after considering user. Recently MP3 player trend is easier and more enjoyable to user. Samsung YP-T9 will satisfy this trend.

How Paper Is Manufactured.

Paper is one of the most useful materials, although the quantity consumed is decreasing. It is used many parts in the world. This post will describe how paper is manufactured.

Firstly, the tree is felled from the forest. Then, the logs are stacked. After that, the logs are transported to the mill by trucks. When the logs are arrived, they are unloaded. In the next stage, the logs are reduced to woodchips and ground. After being ground, water and vegetable fibres are added to make pulp and then bleached. Before being passed through wire screens, the pulp is beaten and glued with resin. Here, it is rolled and water removed at the same time. Afterwords, they are pressed and water marked. It is dried and glazed. Finally, it is cut to the correct size in order to be sold.

James Bond Came to Sydney.

Although most people do not know his real name, everybody knows that he is James Bond.

Today, 4th of December, 2006, Daniel Craig who is the new James Bond, came to Sydney in order to show the Australian premiere of Casino Royale, the 21st 007 series.

Actually, when he was chosen to do this movie, most people were worried about the new 007 series, because he was not dark haired like the previous James Bonds. However, he did not care about that and then he became immersed in acting his character, the new James Bond.

Today, I saw the different James Bond. He did not seem as smooth as the previous James Bonds. Instead he looked more like a spy.

I expect that the new James Bond shows the true spy through real actions without too much romance.

My December

This is my December in 2006.
This is my first and last it.

Sung by Linkin Park

This is my December. This is my time of the year.
This is my December. This is all so clear.
This is my December. This is my snow covered home.
This is my December. This is me alone.

And I...
Just wish that I didn't feel like there was something I missed.
And I...
Take back all the things I said to make you feel like that.
And I...
Just wish that I didn't feel like there was something I missed.
And I...
Take back all the things I said to you.
And I give it all away just to have somewhere to go to.
Give it all away to have someone to come home to.

This is my December. These are my snow covered dreams.
This is me pretending. This is all I need.

Give it all away just to have somewhere to go to.
Give it all away to have someone to come home to.

Three Hostels in Melbourne, Australia

When people are bored with being in the same place, they like to travel. Their travel experience will depend on the quality of the accommodation they stay in. Three hostels in Melbourne, Australia which are named the Pitt on Punt Hotel, Victoria Hall Accommodation and Urban Central Backpackers are compared and contrasted. Four points are assessed, the price of dormitory rooms, the kinds of services included, the overall average of customer ratings and the convenience of their location.

First of all, the price of a basic dormitory room with four beds is compared. Both Pitt on Punt Hotel and Victoria Hall Accommodation cost the same at twenty Australian dollars, while Urban Central Backpackers is twenty-seven Australian dollars.

Secondly, the kinds of services included are both similarities and difference. Pitt on Punt Hotel and Urban Central Backpackers provide breakfast, bed linen and a towel. In contrast, Victoria Hall Accommodation does not provide breakfast.

Thirdly, the overall average of customer ratings which means a feeling of satisfaction from reviewed customers varies considerably. Urban Central Backpackers has the best rating which is ninety per cent. Pitt on Punt Hostel has seventy-four per cent which is less than Urban Central Backpackers’. Victoria Hall Accommodation has the lowest rating at fifty-seven per cent.

Finally, the conveniences of the accommodation locations are similar. All of them are under ten minutes from the centre of city and their locations are easy to use by buses or trams.

In conclusion, all the hostels have something to consider when making a choice. Urban Central Backpackers has the most expensive rooms, although Urban Central Backpackers provides good service, it is similar to Pitt on Punt Hotel. Pitt on Punt Hotel and Victoria Hall Accommodation cost the same and are the cheapest. However, Pitt on Punt Hotel has the middle rating. After considering all the above, Pitt on Punt Hotel is perhaps the best choice.

The Allure of Black

Do you remember? A few years ago, most portable devices such as mobile phones and laptops were coloured black and then they changed to colour. Namely, black became classical. However, black has recently been coming back. Let us think about it, one black in other colours. Black is not classical anymore.

A YP-Z5 which is Samsung's MP3 player shows the changed trend in a copy for the advertisement, "The Allure of Black".

Everybody wants to attract attention, so to choose some different thing satisfies everybody easily.

"The sun among inferior lights." Black will be the sun among the normal things.

Xmas....

When I saw this for the first time, I thought it was simply traces of a plane. But these traces were continuing.

Last Saturday, 18th of November, people who looked in the sky over Circular Quay in Sydney were able to find these traces.

At last, the words which were written by the plane were "Xmas". It reminded me that Christmas is just around the corner. However, it was not finished.

The words were continuing, "....". I considered what words were written, but I could not - It was too long to write "Remain 37 days" - A few minutes later, I hit the nail on the head. The continued words were the advertisement of some website.

The advertising agent's strategy succeeded in that it concentrated my sight to a focus and showed the purpose of the advertisement.

Something Stupid

"Something Stupid" a song which was sung by Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra (father and daughter) in 1966. Their song was remade by Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman (singer and actress) in 2001. These two songs give different feelings. I think the new song is sweeter than the old song and Nicole Kidman's voice supports Robbie Williams' voice. In addition, this music video shows that they are able to harmonise.

I know I stand in line
Until you think you have the time
To spend an evening with me
And if we go someplace to dance
I know that there's a chance
You won't be leaving with me

Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place
And have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all
By saying something stupid
Like I love you

I can see it in your eyes
That you despise the same old lines
You heard the night before
And though it's just a line to you
For me it's true
And never seemed so right before

I practice every day to find some clever
lines to say
To make the meaning come through
But then I think I'll wait until the evening
gets late
And I'm alone with you

The time is right
Your perfume fills my head
The stars get red
And oh the night's so blue
And then I go and spoil it all
By saying something stupid
Like I love you
I love you...

Hanbok, Korean Traditional Clothes

The above pictures are men and women wearing Hanbok. This is a general style, because Hanbok comes in a lot of styles and there are many colour variations. Most people who are young people do not have Hanbok, because it is uncomfortable in comparison to Western clothes. For this reason, most people do not wear Hanbok. If you visit Korea, you cannot see Hanbok often. However, I think Hanbok is more fashionable than Western clothes. Nowadays Hanbok has changed style to be more comfortable and easier to wear. For example, the modern Hanbok combines Korean traditional style and Western style.

Carrusel

"Carrusel" that means carousel was the Mexican children drama. I saw in 1990. By the way, they met again in 2006. I surprised that they didn't change. I could match who is who. However, I felt from this drama which showed 16 years ago, I have already had 16 years.

Beijing and Hanoi

Beijing and Hanoi are the capital cities of China and Vietnam. Both cities are the second largest cities of their countries. This post will compare and contrast some of the population, location and climate features of the two cities.

The populations of the cities differ and there are differences in their compositions. Firstly, Beijing has approximately 15.2 million people, whereas Hanoi has only about 4.1 million people. Secondly, Beijing is composed of Chinese Han which is 96 per cent of all people in China, but Vietnam is composed of mainly Vietnamese and the two biggest minorities which are Chinese and Hmong.

The two cities are different in their physical features. Firstly, the areas of the cities differ. Beijing’s area is bigger than Hanoi’s. Beijing covers an area of 16,808 square kilometres, while Hanoi is only 921 square kilometres. Secondly, the locations of the cities are different. Beijing is on the north tip of North-eastern China, which is about 60 kilometres from Tianjin, North-west of the port. Hanoi is at the head of the Red River delta, which is about 140 kilometres from South China Sea.

Finally, there are differences in the climates of the cities. Beijing’s climate is continental, but Hanoi’s is tropical. In these conditions, Beijing’s average temperature ranges and annual rainfall are lower than Hanoi’s. Beijing’s average low temperature in January is -4 degrees centigrade and is much lower than Hanoi’s at 14 degrees centigrade, Beijing’s average annual rainfall of 635 mm is also lower than Hanoi’s of 2000 mm.

North Korea and South Korea

This post is about the two countries of Korea, North Korea and South Korea. It will compare two points. Firstly, the area and population. Secondly, the division of ideologies of their countries.

[ Look at the Google Map ]

So, let’s start with the first point. Both countries are similar in area and different in population. Firstly, area. North Korea’s area is a little bigger than South Korea’s. North Korea covers one hundred and twenty thousand square kilometres, but South Korea covers only one hundred thousand square kilometres. Secondly, population. North Korea has 2.2 million people which is much less than South Korea’s, which is 4.8 million.

Now to the second point, ideologies. Before we consider this, let us think about the division. Why does it say that North Korea and South Korea are divided? Before the Korean War, Korea was only one country.

However, in 1953, Korea was separated by two ideologies, democracy and communism. North Korea chose communism, whereas South Korea chose democracy.

For example, Korea has two national flags. Have a look! Have you seen them before?

Most people have never seen this flag. This flag is North Korean flag and the other flag is South Korean flag. In fact, many people don’t know the North Korean flag, because North Korea is a closed society.

As a result, we have to say different names, North and South Korea, South and North Korea. Actually, they are different countries, and they have different ideologies. But North Korean and South Korean want to live together, because they use just one language, Korean.

In conclusion, the similarities and the people’s desire show that Korea is one country. But the governments have falsely divided it to suit their own purposes.
